I am a classic young liberal. I was raised to be a staunch conservative wife, but I went to college and opened my mind. I am a straight person who advocates for gay civil rights, I believe women have a say in what happens to their bodies, I believe the United States should be on the side of the Palestinians instead of the Israelis (don’t agree? go and see that wall for yourself then tell me what you think).
I studied Religion and History in college, so I know my stuff. I also understand the value of a liberal arts education.
More and more every day I realize that life is not all black and white. Life is mostly in shades of gray. In fact, that’s the key differences between conservatives and liberals. Conservatives see most things black and white, while liberals see mostly gray.
